Gli Inni (Hymns)

Cara Famiglia,

We were riding our bikes down the street the other day when suddenly we saw a girl with a bright green headband on complete with leprikan (however you spell it) ears. It took us a second, but we suddenly realized it was St. Patrik's day! Sorella Carter was wearing green boots, but I wasn't so lucky. We were trying to remember the point of St. Patrik's day, when I suddenly realized that I gave my farewell talk that day a year ago. It's crazy how time passes.

We've been working with a meno attiva, R. for a while. She's struggling with losing her memory as well as her testimony. She has a sort of love/hate relationship with us- mostly because she's angry with God. We've had lots of miracles with her, she now lets us into the door almost everytime we stop by. The other week we passed by and she was pretty angry at Heavenly Father and was struggling a lot. So we tried something new. We sang a hymn for her and as we sang the spirit crept into the room, she calmed down, and we were then able to have a good lesson with her. Monday was her birthday, so we went to pass by her house, but we ran into her on the street on the way. We went to a park, sat down, and sang several hymns in a row. The Spirit was strong, and R. was touched. It's amazing the power that music has.

Yesterday we decided to go out to a small town south of Pordenone to pass by a potential and a less active family. The potential wasn't at home, but as we were walking to the less active's a car pulled up along side the road, and there was one of our students from english class! She was so excited to see us in her town and invited us over to lunch and to meet her family. It was fun and delicious!

Vi voglio tantissimo bene!

Sorella Pace
